I'm burned out on River Plate, can't stand the crowd chanting every single riff plus you can't hear Malcolm's track. Nonwithstanding the obvious overdubs, the Donington Blu Ray is great. On AC/DC ones that actually have a high res track (looking at you, LTBR Live in Paris ), my usual complaint would be about the mix: while 96/24 PCM tracks are nice, the mix of No Bull is a disappointment. The Dio related-ones I have sound pretty good: Holy Diver Live is nice, but the Heaven And Hell Radio City Hall DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (48kHz, 16-bit) track is really great. It is sadly bottlenecked by the quality of the recording and LOTS of prioritization issues. The DTS-HD High Resolution 5.1 mix (48/24) on the SD-Blu Ray of The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert probably sounds as good as it ever will. The recent Rainbow release, while compressed during the mastering, sounds surprisingly good. ![]() The mix on Hungarian Rhapsody is way better than Wembley, but the Blu Ray doesn't feature the full show. Amazing picture quality (if you tolerate the weird color grading) and great sound. Queen Rock Montreal was already mentioned, and I totally agree.
